            he wrings his TREMBLING hands & tries to slow his ragged breaths enough to answer her  ( wanda, he reminds himself )  questions.    ❛ w-we... we w-were S-S-SENT there... ❜    he clears his throat & focuses on stopping the stutter because he knows THEY hated his stutter  ( even though it was their drugs & shocks & experiments that gave it to him, along with the tremors ),  so others must hate it, too. only andrew has never really MINDED, though elias doesn’t stutter around his little brother.    ❛ ... when i w-was eight. i...
