❛ i would rather not... ❜ his voice trails off. he’s been meditating a lot, lately. his mind is full of those in ( as he’s figured out ) a different time, decades - nearly half a century in the past. a mind full of those who’s lives may have already played their lives out to their end is not a settled mind. ❛ it’s just - ❜ he stops again, his voice not having the strength to go on. a deep breath fills his lungs, then leaves his body. he hasn’t heard one word of anyone he might have known, no one who would have lived this long. & he’s seen the aftermath of something that hasn’t happened yet in his time. there’s so much darkness, it’s suffocating. the darkness is almost seeping into his bones and he’s doing all he can to keep it out of him. ❛ it’s been a rough couple of days. ❜
