it was a rowdy night at the bannered mare in whiterun , the dark and abandoned streets seeming to have taken on all their occupants and vagrants into the singular room of the tavern . though it was a rowdy , jocular affair with patrons engaged in drunken singing with the bard particularly belting the refrain to ragnar the red , a tune that never ceased to amuse her . of course , yuna wasn’t there for that . mismatched eyes searching amid those present , a man in a cloak seated near a rather darkly shrouded woman would be her night’s quandary .

casting her eye to the woman , yuna couldn’t help but blurt : ‘ i know this might be strange to ask , but -- aren’t there ruins near whiterun ? ‘
