“Hey, hey-!” Malon waved one hand frantically as she ran forward, but she already knew her efforts were in vain. Between the pouring rain and the fact that the bus was already pulling away down the street, there was no way the driver was going to notice her. She had missed it, which really wasn’t the end of the world, but... it was going to be another hour before a bus came this way.
And - had she mentioned it was raining? It was raining, and she was soaked to the bone.
Her hand slowly dropped down as her shoulders slumped forward. She had known that taking classes this late was going to be a problem with how the bus routes seemed to almost shut off in the evening, but she hadn’t anticipated it being this hard.
... at this rate she might as well just walk home. It’d probably take the same amount of time before the next bus came.
“Aw, man...”
