Song magic, something that even babies are able to use, comes not to Mer. It was not the quality of her voice since she is able to reach the notes with ease. Mer mimics the song elder as the older woman looks down at the child with coldness. An female to her 5th cycle, she was the only one among the 3rd cycle children. Mer has been taking lesson with the elder for two years now. At first it was a matter of culture, then, as time pass, it was a matter of wit. As the only child of the Yhah’li, Mer was given to the tribe as a potential warrior. But now? After two years of studying and no work to show for? Mer can only barely be considered worthy to breed.
Come Little Children | Aisa
When instinct told her to run, Circe did, hoping that Aisa was close behind her. To lose her in this fog would be just as bad as getting caught by the black blobs that were chasing them through the fog. They couldn’t stop to catch their breath.
“I have a confession to make,” the platinum blonde squealed. “I have no idea where we’re going!”
All she knew about this place was that the fog went out for miles, perhaps even further; that monsters made this weird place their home; and that she and Aisa had been pushed through a television screen to arrive there.
SMN!Aisa ( ofthetwelveswood ) and Egi!Aymeric AU [cont]:
Aah, this one should have guessed this would have happened. The nature of primal ones as a whole, regardless of origin, was usually very similar. She did, however, have the foresight to summon Garuda-egi prior to attempting to summon the lordly one, though in the same token, mayhaps that was why lordly one’s primal form was on the offensive…
“T-This one understands lordly one’s fears… ! But t-that is– what this one– does–!”
Or so she had said, partly before the squeezing began, wisps from Garuda-egi following suit – the other summoned creature attempting to wring the other miniature primal from Aisa’s neck. Strong air currents would be pushing between the smoke-like tail and the summoner’s neck, the other egi’s attempt to get this newly-summoned and untested primal away just enough to use a Shockwave to knock it back.
Aisa’s fingers trying to pull the egi off herself might not have been quite as effective as Garuda-egi’s attempts, given the aetheric nature of both, but she was still trying.
The summoned one let out a screech, it ringing right into the Summoner’s ear. The gusts of wind were making small cuts in his aether-like body. It hurt like never before, it was surprising even for him. But anger was over the top; that was probably the most dominant emotion stirring within.
Just as Aymeric let his tail to loosen a bit in order to focus on the opposing egi, he got blown away. He let out huffs which formed into bright smoke that soon vanished in the air. His skull mask closed once again, only revealing his eyes. He couldn’t actually fight back well. What he was good at were empowering oneself and others so he wasn’t in the best situation.
“Why do you need me?” the creature inquired in an aggressive tone, his claw-like hands gesturing in the air, “Don’t you have enough pets at your disposal?!”
He didn’t hesitate to point at Garuda-egi whom managed to shove him away.
Months and months of toiling, sweat, tears, arcane geometries, and willpower later... Aisa finally has become a summoner -- and one who has learned to wield her powers responsibly. And yet, here she is, attempting to summon someone she had looked up to when he was yet alive. Aymeric. Even without anyone's assistance, as she truly should have sought some for this. Will this attempt even succeed? Aisa doesn't know. She's still trying to, in spite of logic -- does it work... ? [ aymeric-egi leggo ]
Tag of this AU will be: ;summoner’s supremacy
For Aymeric had died, reawakened as a primal and fallen again. A vicious cycle of life and death in his existence was never-ending. At this point he wished for peace but something was calling for him. Someone was calling for the damned beast again. After so many deaths and rebirths, his summoning required a lot of aether energy to call him out without any flaws and for him to be safely tamed but--
“I shall never find peace, hm?” weird voice echoed before a snake-like creature, who’s body was beginning to disintegrate from its abdomen and wearing a skull mask which covered its face appeared around Aisa’s neck and squeezing it quite tightly.
“Do you think you can just summon me at will?!” the summon’s skill mask opened up revealing a face of an Elezen, only his eyes being hollow and emitting smoke from them.
