Diego squinted at Vanya as they shared drinks in the bar not far from the manor after coming from 1963. He thought for a moment and then raised a finger at her. “You have had entirely too much to drink, but at this point, I’m going to have to agree with you, considering our childhoods were robbed from us.” Diego shrugged. “Yours more than mine, actually, now that I think about it. And you know what I came here to do? Not think.” He finished his whiskey and curled a finger at the bartender to keep them coming. “In this reality, though, you’re thirty, and I think older than me by a few months, so hey, drink up, big sis!”
