After long waiting its seems to be confirmed by his twitter that his mixtape #BallinLikeImKobe will drop Monday, August 10th. Starting back in 2012, when MC rapper Lil Herb and his fellow Chicago rapper friend Lil Bibby gave us their drill record Kill Shit and Lil Herb dropped his freestyle to Versace. Lil Herb has given us two projects in 2013; first it was Welcome to Fazoland dedicated to his friend G Fazo who died when he was in 8th grade and Pistol P Project which was a suprised project released after Christmas. Ballin Like Im Kobe has been creating a buzz for a while now named after his friend Jacobi, who died in 2013 as Lil Herb described on Sway in the Morning; him and his friends was celebrating Lil Bibby older brother birthday, rollin dice and etc when his friend Jacobi left the scene to go home not asking a friend for a ride and seconds later they heard gunshots and Lil Herb stated he seen "his homie dead on the ground". After not making 2015 XXL Freshman class and getting dissed in 2014 by not even making the list, Lil Herb dropped a track called "XXL" venting his feelings and just released the visual by Azae Production to his teaser "Rollin" till we get Ballin Like Im Kobe. Lets see if our predications are right. Hopefully Lil Herb keeps his word!
If you didn't already know, The legend herself Janet Jackson is going on tour starting this summer making Vancouver her first stop Aug 31st; Janet Jackson : Unbreakable World Tour. Giving us a little groove of the Janet we missed in this music era we have the music video for her single "No Sleep", from her upcoming album featuring a guest appearance from Jcole himself. Billboard has confirmed recently that a remix with his verse on it will be on the album.
