a latergram PSA: if you're going to Epcot for Holidays Around The World, definitely check out the Feast of the Three Kings kiosk! This booth was my favorite overall during Food & Wine when it hosted the Islands of the Caribbean menu, and they didn't disappoint this time around either. . This is the roasted pork with "mashed" yucca* & pickled green bananas. 🍌 This is supposed to be served with mashed yucca but ours were solid & a little too hard for our liking, BUT the overall flavor was still excellent & I've seen other pictures of this posted that look more like the original PR pic-- we got this pretty early on in the run of the festival so maybe it was just an off day. In any event, the portion size is generous-- I was expecting a F&W sampling type thing, but it was a meal-- we split this & Tamale & 3 Kings Bread four ways and felt A-Ok. . Things I ate at Food & Wine: China Kiosk... . ✨Beijing Roasted Duck in a Steamed Bun with Hoisin Sauce-- elephant in the room first, this isn't as good as the beef bun from Flower & Garden. (Sorry Duck bun). BUT, it has a lot of the same elements and was a totally acceptable filler in the interim. 8/10 would wait in line for again... Especially since ill already be in line for these next two beauties: . ✨ Sichuan Spicy Chicken-- your name is accurate. You could also have called yourself "addictive little crispy buggers with a kick". If you like spice, you'll love this. They're a teeny bit sweet and a teeny bit tangy, but they pack a nice spicy kick without blowing out your tastebuds (which is important because you have a lot of tasting left to do). 12/10 you are on my must do again list. . ✨as are you, Happy Peach! Oh Happy Peach. You are a refreshing and lovely friend & at 8.75, you are also refreshingly un-small.
