Winter 08: Dateless - Pt. 2 (21/64)
Ethan was very serious about the game.
Of course, if you want to play this game the way it's intended, it takes hours. So after about an hour, we decided to stop. Ethan was ahead at that point. He then gave me pointers on what I could do better next time.
When we were about to leave, Ethan said, "I like the colour of your coat; it really matches your face." I -think- he may have meant that to be a compliment? I don't know, but it was a bit weird...
I'm not too sure about Ethan. He was cute, and I think he really tried, but it just felt slightly awkward...
Gameplay notes: Ethan was the only one so far to shake Rachel's hand upon meeting. He then proceeded to talk about computers, which she met with polite nodding. They kept the interaction going rather nicely, but most of it was on books and computers (the latter initiated by Ethan each time). They didn't roll wishes about one another, and the interactions they began were limited to talking. Towards the end of the date, even though their relationship was still "acquaintances", Ethan suddenly started to "compliment" Rachel. I was surprised and hoped it might be progress, but Rachel just felt really awkward, and Ethan got the "foot in mouth" moodlet, saying, "Ethan tried to say something nice, but it just came out all wrong!" I felt bad for him... They then parted as "acquaintances". Attraction score: 6.
