Homegirl got fucked up narratively tbh

In season one and two the writers knew her purpose within the plot, but as soon as they made her the central character it just started going downhill, and she ends up as this completely static character - always fluctuating between Freddie and Cook, manic and calm, ~~esctasy and depression - she has no plot whatsoever and it's just really sad to watch, basically.

We're not given any reason or mentality for her - it's like they try to keep the mystery that's central to gen 1 Effy, but it just falls completely flat because it means that we're meant to believe she's had no growth and development, regardless of the changing social scene and situation around her.
