i just want to bent a little bc HONESTLY that jarp*d guy has such bad takes it's surprising it's the same man that was part of the series from day 1 . The thing is, i wouldn't trust him with something that's not acting. Not as a director, writer, not even as a producer. I just want him to not talk about the story at all ever again. Because he just doesnt understand it and every time he opens his mouth is shows.

i once read analysis that basically was like, cas is a part of misha he’s said like in some way, dean’s like jensen’s best friend—but there’s some emotional disconnect between jared and sam and honestly i think sometimes over the course of the 15 seasons, as time went on, and sam clearly wasn’t going to be the main character anymore, and cas was more with dean than with sam, there was nothing for jared to really latch on to which was why i liked eileen so much but by the time they brought her back i feel like the damage was done. 

and yeah he’s always been out of touch, and i think that's why. it’s not the same level of connection his costars have with his character. I think that contributes to his inability to read the room.  the only good thing about his comments is that, like the finale itself, it’s so batshit, i’m ignoring it. i’m remembering all the time over the last several years we go ‘oh actors don’t understand their characters’ but really, out of the three of them, it’s really one of them that doesn’t understand the most. and jackles understood more than i think most of us gave him credit for. i don’t think it’s an issue listening to actors talk about their characters, but, i think there needs to be some kind of gauge. does the actor truly honestly emotionally connect with their character or is there a ‘separation’ and you’re just spouting things off other people tell you and swinging wildly in the dark because you don’t want to seem like you don’t know what’s going on.
