*looks again at that Marc Spector-as-the-Phoenix image, and then at all past stories about that damn bird and the complex relationship between the Phoenix and its hosts, and then back at Marc Spector and his long history of having his DID explored VERY VERY BADLY, and can practically FEEL the oncoming ableism jumping out of that page and hitting like a freight train*

The more I think about it the more I realise that IW and especially EG are a reason why adults should read children's books more often. Or Anderson's fairy tales.

Wait, did WandaVision really have a scene in the latest episode where there's literally war going on outside their apartment building in Sokovia, people are shooting, and Wanda's family is pretty much ignoring all that nonsense and just happily sitting down to watch some American sitcoms instead. And then a literal bomb flies into their apartment, but the tv set miraculously survives somewhere in the rubble, so she can keep on watching. XD I mean, I know these are comic book movies and there's always a certain amount of ridiculousness involved, and I usually take it in stride, but I literally burst out laughing at this.
