Yeah, I think it’s easy to get locked into a bubble on social media, especially on tumblr, but if you listened to that interview today (or look at some of the comments on his various ig posts, not just the ballerina one), it’s a different picture. I deleted another, rather lengthy anon that tried to argue the counter (my apologies because at least one piece went missing), but you really have to look beyond the things you cherrypick and remember that none of us really knows what any of them want to do w/r/t coming out or how they want to do it, like, the argument that Louis “doesn’t get to” express his sexuality presupposes that you know exactly how he wants to do it and is being denied. I’m not gonna get further into it, everyone’s life is their own business, but there are a lot of "experts” out there who don’t know them personally, yet pretend they have absolute knowledge, yet have wildly different takes, and if you’re convinced that the world sees Harry Styles as completely out/not-straight, listen to some of these interviews, read some mainstream articles. Absolutely, there are a lot of people picking up on his signals (and on Louis’s, too, fwiw), but there are an awful lot who aren’t.
