Removing god, christ, jesus and any adjacent filler words from my vocabulary in order to reclaim parts of my spirituality back while living in a society that does not accept my choice to not worship any abrahamic religion is difficult, but I think it makes me better than I was. It would make me so happy to never have religion be a discussion in normal day conversation, and honestly it does mean removing those words for me. But mostly it's about removing those words for others, because I would never talk about my spirituality to another person without very specific prompting, so why have I been conditioned to talk about someone elses unprompted?
