hm. well, i used up my beveled pieces and wound up not really happy with the result

carving a straight channel into a piece so small is really difficult, but the channel has to be even or the two halves don't join well. i also don't have anything smaller to use as a core.

option 1 is i use what i made and try to clean it up. option 2 is i start over. option 3... i make the hookshot instead
