You need teen wolf prompts? Here, have one: Chris/Peter/Papa (John) Stilinski being all domestic like
“Get out of—stop eating those—John! Come in here and get him!”
Chris swatted at Peter’s hand, scowling when the man dodged him to snatch up another piece of fruit from the salad, popping it into his mouth with a grin. Heavy footsteps heralded John swinging around the corner, shrugging his jacket from his shoulders as he nudged Peter away with his hip.
“Stop aggravating him.” He reprimanded, hanging up the coat in the nearby closet before crossing to press a gentle kiss to Chris’ lips, inhaling with a groan.
“Something smells delicious, sweetheart. What’s for dinner?”
“It was supposed to be wine and tomato braised chicken with fruit for dessert, but someone,” Chris shot another glare at Peter, who was now leaning a hip against the counter and chewing with a smirk, “keeps eating all the pineapple.”
“I’m doing it for John!” Peter protested, sliding up behind the man in question to gently grab ahold of the uniform tie and tug him in for a kiss.
Chris made a soft sound as he watched them, feeling the familiar warmth in his chest. He didn’t generally care to actually have sex, it wasn’t as important to him as love and affection in a relationship, but he loved to watch Peter and John. There was something so entrancing about two powerful men being intimate with each other and one of Chris’ favorite past-times was watching the two as they rolled around and fought for dominance. His voyeurism was interrupted when John reached a hand out and snagged the front of his shirt, gently reeling him in until they all stood close together, arms linked around one another.
“Peter’s just nervous.” John murmured, ignoring Peter’s scowl and noise of protest to brush the tip of his nose against Chris’. “Tonight’s a big night.”
“Not that big.” Peter grumbled, nudging closer until he could brush a kiss to the corner of Chris’ mouth, the unspoken apology soothing the aggravation Chris had felt boiling under the surface all day.
“It is big, though. Tonight’s the first night everyone’s coming to have dinner all together.”
Chris swallowed at the blunt reminder, letting go of the two men to check on his chicken, humming contentedly at the look of it. When they’d all moved in together, they had wanted to get everyone important in their lives together for a huge dinner. However, with John and Derek’s shifts at the station, lacrosse for Scott and Stiles, and Melissa’s hospital shifts, it had been impossible to do quickly. Hence why, nearly a month after moving in, they were finally planning the dinner they had all been waiting on.
“You alright?” John asked quietly, leaning on the counter next to the stove as Peter’s call of going to grab the bottle of wine for the meal sounded out from the hall.
Chris shrugged, fiddling with the spatula before setting it down on the counter and heaving a sigh, moving into John’s easy embrace. He set his forehead on the broad shoulder hidden under warm polyester and huffed out a breath as John ran a slow hand up and down his back.
“I’m still worried. Allison and Peter will never get along, and I don’t think Melissa will ever stop glaring at him when he’s not looking. But I just—“
“Want them to get along.” John finished with a sigh, pressing a kiss to Chris’ temple and smiling against the skin. “At least your kid doesn’t start screaming matches with him.”
Chris groaned at the memories of Stiles standing in the kitchen, arms akimbo, yelling at Peter over the kitchen island. They went at it every single time there was even imagined slight, and it made the tension in the air thick as all get out some mornings. Those mornings, Chris didn’t feel the slightest bit bad about locking himself in his gun safe and cleaning all his weapons.
“I’m trying.” Chris whipped around at the soft voice that came from the hall, watching Peter put the bottle of wine on the table and cross his arms, looking distinctly uncomfortable.
“What?”
“I’m…trying. I know there’s bad blood and I know it’s my fault most of it exists. But I’m trying for you two and I’ll keep trying. I’ll never,” Peter cleared his throat and ground his teeth. “I’ll never be a good guy. It’s not in me. But I can try to be…better?”
There was a split second of silence, where the air hung heavy between them all, before Chris and John were moving into motion as one, crossing the space to yank Peter between them. The wolf shuddered against them, tangling his fingers with Chris’ and nuzzling into John’s chest. Chris met John’s eyes with a small smile, both of them leaning in just a bit closer to the still shivering body between them.
Tonight was an important night, but it wasn’t be all, end all. If it went badly, there was always another chance to do it over again. They were all works in progress, and they were making it work one day at a time. Yeah, there were going to be moments of aggravation and frustration, but those would be balanced out well enough with moments like these. Moments where it all came down to a long exhale, a sinking of shoulders, leaning on someone else for support, and knowing they would catch you.
