" where the fuck is he? “ sera mumbles to herself after checking the time on her phone for the seventh time. was he lost? she never thought her place was hard to find, it’s in the central part of gangnam-gu -- it’s impossible to miss, really. did he forget, again? also unlikely, considering they were just texting one another and making plans for him to bring over some drinks for them to share. with a sigh, she drags herself up from her sofa and paces out into the kitchen, glancing to her door and then back to the refrigerator. she contemplates pouring herself a drink even before he arrives, but when the doorbell rings through her halls, she slides over to the front door and yanks it open, taking in the sight of him with a scowl.

it’s ten past midnight and the club’s really starting to come to life. the dance floor lights up with the neon strobe lights overhead, and the dj has the music playing from every speaker in the building, the bass from the track making the shot glasses on the shelves behind sera rattle. she’s filling up her tray with another round of shots when she feels her phone vibrate in her pocket. she contemplates ignoring it because she’s on the clock, but she needs a moment to catch her breath anyway, so she slips her phone out of her pocket and reads over the message, her brows furrowing with concern.

Youngji all too often gets away form herself when alcohol is involved. She smiles at you as you move her hair to the side, the warmth of your fingers close to her making her blush marginally more than the alcohol, but even she doesn’t notice it. The next thing she knows, anyway, is that she’s asleep, the pain in her head feeling the temporary relief of the cold bar surface. Luckily, the only things she brought out with her that night are her credit card, T-Money card, and dorm key, indicating where she should be taken after you carry her. Her faith has always been a little too strong with strangers, but her sleep is overcoming her fear at the moment. When she wakes up though. she’s still supported by you, her dorm out of the corner of her eye a bit ahead of her, and she turns her head to look up at you; “You’re uh... you uh... Hyuk... That’s your name right? Wait ok Hyuk... and I’m Youngji... I’m Youngji, and that’s my dorm...” - She weakly points at the building; “Will you... help? Well... keep doing it?” - She pouts at you; “Please...”

"I told you it was cold out."  

She had tried her hardest to convince him how cold it was outside before they ever left her apartment but the male was much too stubborn. The thin, long sleeve flannel shirt he was wearing no doubt did very little to stop the chilling wind against his skin. His nose and cheeks were flushed from the cold and she couldn’t help the little voice that said ‘I told you so’.  Figures. She rolled her eyes, slowing her pace to fall in step with him, studying his expression to see if they needed to stop their walk and find somewhere closer to dine. Reaching her gloved hands out, she took his hands in her own trying to warm them with her touch. 

With his hands in hers, she took the opportunity to lead him into the nearest shop, her eyebrows furrowed with worry. Why she had let him leave the house without something heavier to shield himself from the cold was beyond her. She should’ve nagged more. Now he was going to catch a cold. “Hyuk, we need to buy you a jacket. You’re going to freeze to death before we even get to dinner.”
