Which AU fic have you read 50 times?? I somehow just finished everything in my ao3 bookmarks so I'm desperate for good recs!
jkgfldgjk it’s kind of embarrassing to admit, but the fic i was talking about is a hockey rpf sixth sense au, so i’m not sure if that would be up your alley at all? but i do have some star trek au fic recs!
about how i’m choosing what to rec: i’ve mostly included fics that have been published relatively recently and/or don’t pop up in the first few pages of the spirk ao3 tag when you sort by kudos so that there’s a better chance you’ll find something you haven’t read yet.

↳ you’ve probably seen this one around recently because it was published earlier this month as part of the star trek reverse big bang, but you may not know yet that it’s totally awesome. i have a soft spot for fics about tarsus iv and fics where jim and spock meet when they’re younger, and this combines both of those things into an angsty but really enjoyable read. it’s so good!! i read it all in one sitting last weekend.

↳ the main reason i’m recommending this is that it’s very long, so it will probably last you for at least a couple days if you end up liking it. it’s an interesting take on a relationship between two original characters - a human woman who grew up on a salvage ship and a vulcan doctor whose planet was just destroyed - who get together after a shared pon farr leads to an unplanned pregnancy. i'm still not finished with it because i keep putting it down and coming back to it, but i’ve liked it so far!
