Rhaki walked into the small room, sneering at Akarda as he passed and shutting the door before she could even try anything. Why couldn't she send her new second in command to deal with this. he thought, he is so much better at doing this boring stuff, he could talk to anyone and would have their minds changed in a matter of seconds. his face in a scowl, what was the word, envy? Or jealousy? He couldn't remember.
"Ohatu." The brute spoke in a professional manner, wiping away the look on his face to something more neutral. The small vo-matoran that was at a crowded desk in the center of the room looked up in panic. "R-rhaki? You haven't b-been around in a long ti-time. Wh-why are you here?" He questioned the brute out of unpreparedness.
"You know why we're here. Which crates are ours so we can hurry up and leave before the storm that's a-coming hits." He scoffed.
"I- uh, n-" Ohatu stumbled over his words, interupted by the brute.
"Really, is it that fucking hard still to talk? I thought you'd toughen up a bit since the water dissapeared."
"..." he took a deep breath.
.
"No." He answered shaky.
.
"What-" before Rahki could finished he was cut off by the matoran.
"No. You're not getting a-anything more from m-me, or from Iden-Nui. I-I've had enough of you and y-your goons taking a-all we have!" The small vo-matoran slammed his prothsetic fist down on his desk with a thunderous thud.
"Leave My Island." Ohatu spoke in a unwavering tone to the brute fully knowing if he so chooses that he'd get turned to paste, but at least Akarda was outside the door if anything was to go wrong.
Rhaki stared in disbelief at the matoran with his jaw hanging open, looking him up and down. Eventually he regained his posture back, "Fine. We'll leave. We won't say a peep till we're off the island. But you better pray you never get to see dawn or else your destiny will be in far worse hands." He said coldly to the matoran, taking with him his bag and exiting the room in one smooth move.
.
"I know..." Ohatu said back quietly as he watched the orange and white brute leave. He had the worst feeling in his gut, but he felt in his heartlight he had made the right choice.
