Traumprinz - Where Is Home
Now for a masterclass in evocative techno. Traumprinz is fast becoming one of the most talked about producers of the moment. This artist has produced some of the most heart-wrenchingly stunning music over the past couple of years and the tracks just keep coming.
As always, ‘Where Is Home’ is beautifully constructed, the poignant message in the song has a strong presence and the careful crescendo of the ambient, harmonious echoes of the synth keep you in a trance. Whilst all the while a careful crescendo of the bass line takes you by surprise towards the end and finishes the song on a high.
A member of the Giegling collective, the elusiveness of Traumprinz aka DJ Metatron aka Prince Of Denmark is intriguing, but when you’re consistently laying down tracks of this calibre... otherworldly seems more appropriate.
