Try looking at the short story The Yellow Wallpaper. It's about a woman dealing with post pardon depression and how she's being 'treated' and how it's effecting her back in the day when she'd have likely been sent to an asylum for being mentally ill. It's not got anything to do with college students but is about untreated depression and stress and how she is being treated by a loved one and it's effects on her. It was the first to come to mind when I seen your post.
