Then, he caught Yun's scent around the other male. "That explains why no hunters dare to enter yer area. Ya be one lucky lad, to have Yun as yar guard."

Yugi looked up when the door opened, only to freeze by the direct words. How did this stranger know...And not just know he was fae but the very court he was from? But he felt the magic of this being, something very not human, making his hair stand on end. He didn't relax, even as he was told he was lucky to have Yun.

"I'd be careful what you say out loud. It isn't just Yun looking after me, you're in a witch's lair. And he doesn't take kindly to dangers to his dear ones. Can I ask how you know what you know and what exactly you are?" He had spent too long fearing for his life, at this point he was just tired and didn't care he was being direct.

I'm gonna say a lot of dumb things. (for Daniel)

one lamp post sticks straight up into the air above their bus stop. the broken greyhound sign does nothing to illuminate the rest of the street around them as he (they?) wait for the tin can to come rolling down the street. it'll get him to the trainstation. he's got no idea if that's where she's heading or if somewhere else is her destination but the company's kinda nice. especially at just past two o'clock in the morning. when the night's at it's quietest and there's nothing in the air but fog and the slight bite of frost in the air. he's offered her a spot underneath the blanket he had in his bag.

two's better than one in the chill. shouldn't take long for the bus to get here, though. by his watch? about another twenty minutes. it'd feel a hell of a lot longer sitting in silence, alone and without something warm to snuggle up into, though. coat, hat and gloves aside.

a small smile and he gives her a glance from the corners of his eyes before shaking his head. "i don't think there's much anyone can say at this hour that makes you sound stupid. even if there is? a lot can be said for chalking it up to close to three a.m. chatter. least that's my story if i end up doing the same." a couple of snowflakes start to twist and dance through the air past their little overhang / booth.

"where are you heading? somewhere warmer? or is it just far enough to get out of this town? if you can call it that. isn't very much bigger than this if i can judge from what i saw on the way in.."
