WE GOT ANOTHER BOX OHHH MY-
the sun hangs low out of the front window of the shop ( all ochre & red, autumn breeze whirling colored leaves into a dancing circle along the sidewalk outside. ) in her headphones, siouxsie croons spellbound. helena hums and pushes a book into place, one of the last few on her stack of returns before her workday is done. she'd thought maybe the night would end with a cup of tea, a re - run of the munsters and perhaps a well packed bowl, but it seems life has other plans. ( doesn't it always? ) the chime tied to the door clatters, signaling someone's entry. "welcome to the end!" said from behind the bookshelf she finds herself leaning against, standing atop tip toes to shove yet another book back into it's place. “Eenie meenie miney mo.”
The words were whispered under her breath as she touched the top of each shot glass respectively. Viktoriya slid the final one to Tahal and kept the other three for herself. The other woman gave her a look but she simply shrugged. These three would not be the last of the night.
“It’s my ritual for this. It really kicks off the night.”
The first two went down easily. The third would have if someone hadn’t come up and jostled her elbow, upsetting the drink over the bar top.

Edgar was late. He was always late to be honest, but today it just felt important to be on time. He had promised his sister, Amelia, that he was going to make an effort to be more punctual, but it was their third day back and he was already running through the halls like a mad man, trying to make it on time. Rounding a corner he skidded to a stop, but not quite in time. Trying to decrease the impact of his blow, he manuvered in a way that caused him to trip and land hard on the ground. “My bad!” he groaned out in way of apology. Still laying on the ground he asked the other, “Are you alright?”
Louie had some bits of random metal things (to almost everyone) floating around as he waved his right hand over his new and improved arm. “At what point do you think I can start calling myself Inspector Gadget?” he asked to no one in particular.
“It’s been a while.”
