A glimpse inside my strange and spooky world: While gathering photos for my upcoming book, I come across these three boxes, all labeled “Ohio 2004”. They contain 1,874 photographs (yes, I counted) I took at all the weird places I visited in 2004. All shot on 35mm. THE CEDAR HILL CEMETERY in Newark, Ohio is believed to be haunted. It is said that if you open the rusty gate leading to the Baker Mausoleum, cross the small yard and press your ear to the mausoleum door, you might be able to hear screams coming from inside.

Also, very near to the Baker Mausoleum is a grave with a baby's form carved into it. Legend has it that if you stare at the baby's face, count to sixty, and then turn your head, the baby's head will be slightly turned when you look back at it.
