I agree that theyre best friends since well we dont have much else to assume after 698 now do we but i can see why people dislike it so much since the sn relationship is toxic af and for almost the entire manga felt extremelyyyyyyy one sided

I can, too! Like I’ve said, it’s not for everyone. I like my angst and I like my tragedy as well as my fluff and vanilla and healthy (NaruHina).

I’ve never thought personally that it was one-sided, it just looked that way vaguely because we only saw one side. Part 1 was actually really mutual from what I read and saw, even when Sasuke and Naruto had their fight at the Valley of the End, Sasuke didn’t kill Naruto. He said it was because he wanted to forge his own path, out of the shadow of his brother, but really that was justification for why he truly couldn’t kill Naruto: he didn’t have the heart, or rather, lack thereof, to do so.

And sure, Sasuke has moments of caring for Sakura, of respecting Kakashi, but no one has ever gotten his full attention and respect like Naruto. Naruto’s the touchy feel-y type that makes grandiose, boisterous statements about Sasuke while Sasuke isn’t and has never been so bold, but the sentiment is still there.

So I wouldn’t say the entire manga was extremely one-sided. We just saw way more of Naruto’s feelings and he took those feelings so much farther. But even then, I feel like not really, because Sasuke already had his Mangekyo, but knew his bond and his feelings for Naruto were much too strong to ignore, so, with tears in his eyes, he tried to eradicate those bonds by attempting to kill his best friend.

Believe me, I would love to see Naruto flinging chunks of lava left and right, but like it doesn’t really feel like his style.

Naruto’s fighting style is a mixture of unpredictable taijutsu with sealess or single seal jutsus (Rasengan and Shadow Clones). I think the only jutsu he knows that has an actual seal sequence is the Summoning Jutsu. Naruto and finesse just do not get along. 

From what I can tell, his style is kind of a mixture of Minato and Kushina’s fighting style. We’ve seen that Minato uses jutsu that have very little prep time (other than Summoning), relying on the speed and unpredictable nature of the Hiraishin to throw his opponents off their game. Kushina meanwhile says that she was never very good ninjutsu (a trait that Naruto shares) and from what we’ve seen she had a very brute force style of taijutsu, supplemented with her innate affinity for fuinjutsu from her Uzumaki heritage.

ANYWAY, if we’re going off the idea of Naruto doing combos with  Mei (and anyone else really) he’d probably supplement her attacks with an overwhelming amount of chakra. Naruto’s biggest advantage in a fight is his ability to throw around massive amounts of chakra and not even be winded.
