today has been a long day, and he wants to do nothing more than to melt into the seat next to kohaku who he knows will give him some peace and quiet, compared to the other two that he will neither think of nor name, for fear that simply contemplating their names would have them manifesting in thin air and contemplate over his day. should he think any more, he fears he might literally melt. and he would rather not be swept away by a mop, or kohaku's shoe. the fatigue of their live from just three hours ago has finally infused into his muscles and his bones, and now he wants to relax.
@ohkava. hands him a rice cracker. he likes to share his sweets.
HiMERU turns his head, currently rested against the back of the couch, and looks first at the offered sweet, and then, with a bit of a struggle, up to kohaku's face. it's easy for him to forget that kohaku genuinely appreciates and wants to share these sweets the way HiMERU pretends to. kaname would have loved this. the elder had learned it during his off year absorbed it into his memory the way he was always taught to do.
it would be unwise and rude of him not to accept it, and so he does, taking it without any outward protest and sitting up to bite into it properly. ❝ thank you, oukawa, ❞ he says, through a chew. it's not the best rice cracker he's ever had in his life, but it's good enough to him that he'll take it. ❝ this is exactly what HiMERU needs after a day like this. ❞ exhausting. his ears are still ringing. ❝ how many of these have you eaten, anyways ? ❞
