I'm still reading that office worker reverse isekai and I feel like the writer is doing a good job in terms of like... ok so sometimes in stories there's a character who tries to deceive another character about their intentions etc. and the other character falls for it, but in this case one character is trying to deceive the other character and the other character is going like 'I know they're lying about being shallow and trashy and self-serving and it pisses me off they're lying about it :/' and I really like that. I like when deception doesn't work but both characters end up playing along with the ruse
