Name: Heather. Age: Probably older than you. Country: USA. tv-shows: Mostly OUAT. I also like Doctor Who, Supernatural, Buffy and Angel, The Tudors, Game of Thrones, AHS, Penny Dreadful, etc. I'm super bad at keeping up with tv shows though so the only running that I'm current on are OUAT, Doctor Who, Game of Thrones, and Scream Queens. Movies: Interview With the Vampire, Repo! The Genetic Opera, Pulp Fiction, The Breakfast Club, Cruel Intentions, Mad Max (I have like 8 copies of the original on vhs because my mom is a weird person), Pacific Rim, Constantine, etc. I like a lot of movies, but I tend to prefer action, sci-fi, fantasy stuff over other things. Hobbies: Probably my biggest obsession is music. I love going to concerts but I can't really afford to, haha. I also like writing, reading, video games, and driving. Something interesting about you: I'm engaged to @emmabuttons, who I met online through another fandom nearly a decade ago. I moved across the country with her a little over a year ago. I think that online friendships and relationships are just as important and valid as those offline. CS is my main ship but I ship all of the big four in OUAT. Killian is my favourite character now, but Rumple was my first favourite and is now probably second on that list. It's really important to me that the people I talk to/follow don't hate on either Killian or Rumple (or their/any actors) because it makes me feel really terrible. Sorry for the late answer, anon, our hotel wifi sucked.Basically it was more of the same: people ambushing the actors, not respecting that they are working, acting like entitled babies, etc.For some reason, the OUAT fandom believes that The Rules Do Not Apply to them. If security says “stand here, stay here” people will literally RUN ONTO SET AND BACK INTO THEIR DRESSING AREA. They will even literally stalk the actors back to their trailers.When the actors got into the vans to leave, after already having dealt with the fans being disrespectful, people were chasing the van and banging on the windows trying to get the actors’ attention.The OUAT fandom is the most heinous, disrespectful fandom I have ever had the displeasure to be around.If anyone reads this and takes anything from it, let it be this: DO NOT, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES, DISRESPECT THE CAST, CREW, OR ANYONE ELSE DURING FILMING. If they say stay here, you stay there. If they say shut up, you shut up. THEY ARE WORKING. BY DISRESPECTING THEM IN THIS WAY YOU ARE RUINING A SHOW YOU CLAIM TO LOVE. Just stop, don’t do it. The actors do not owe you anything and you are not entitled to see them, talk to them, or get pictures with them.Each time I’ve gone the “fans” have been worse and worse. They seem to be building more and more of the sets on the studio, as we’ve seen on the dvd extras. “Fans” like this are going to drive them out of public filming and we are all going to lose.PS: It’s not about me meeting the actors! Of course I’d like to, but I like getting to see them filming the scenes. I was with two first timers who were big fans of the show, and I did want to see them meet the actors, but I totally respect that they didn’t want to come out after the shitshow that was yesterday.
