Naruhina AU Week Day 7: An AU, where Hyuga clan leader Hinata Hyuga and Hokage Naruto Uzumaki can’t tolerate each other.

In this AU, Naruto’s and Hinata’s paths parted soon after the war, when Hinata was promoted to the role of the leader of her clan and the clan becoming her number one priority.

After all the difficult and heated negotiations between the Hyuga clan leader and Hokage, Hinata decided, in gratitude for the benefits she was able to get to her clan, to give in to the sweet tension between them and let her emotions do their thing.

AU: Hokage Naruto Uzumaki and Hyuga clan leader Hinata Hyuga 

Hyuga clan leader Hinata Hyuga has many reasons to congratulate Naruto Uzumaki - not only will he become Hokage rather soon, he also just got engaged to his long-term girlfriend. 

But still, there's somebody else running in his mind and dreams...

Naruhina (Sort of a ) Social media AU 

Hinata Hyuga is a journalist who has lived in Suna for years now. When she’s not working, she spends her free-time especially in social media channels dedicated to green plant enthusiasts.  

On one of those channels she meets a man named Menma. She befriends him and eventually they start chatting privately. Their chats gets that flirtatious and romantic that it drives Hinata to suggest FaceTiming. Menma doesn't seem to be as enthusiastic with the idea as her, which leads Hinata to ponder if she’s being catfished.  

Menma brings the same idea up later on and suggests an “online date”. Hinata likes the idea and agrees to it both joyfully and a little worried.

It’s no wonder, that Menma has been reluctant to meeting eye to eye. All this time Hinata indeed hasn’t talked with “Menma” but with Konoha’s leader Naruto Uzumaki himself.

Enjoy my clumsy take of a blooming friendship between Hinata and Sasuke.

Sasuke’s back in the village and he and Hinata coincidently ran into each other. After an awkward small talk about their partners being busy at work and kids being who knows where, Hinata asks, out of being a polite person, Sasuke to go have some coffee with her. And out of being polite, Sasuke agrees. They noticed they have a lot in common.
