Instrumental Music Informance today

Thank god it's my last one. Like chorus yesterday, we had to sightread a piece in front of the audience. To be honest, it was harder than I thought it would be. I mean octave jumps, TWO key changes, and TWO solos. Wow. Apparently we sightread what Symphonic band is performing for their fall concert lol.  Nailed it.

Heera was talking to me about one of her friends from her church. Pretty sure I don't know anyone at her church, but then Heera's like, "She said she knew you in freshman year and thinks you're gay." And I'm just like what. I am now curious and offended. So Heera tells me her name and sends me a picture of her and I just have no idea who she is. What the hell. How does she know me in freshman year if I'm pretty sure I've never met her. Ever.

It was the last day of school today and I'm having a shitty time reflecting on what happened this year. I'm pathetic.

Today was a good day.

Mostly because I was actually excited to hand my friend her birthday gift. Really good cheese and a really long birthday card. It was very satisfying to see that she liked it... a lot. It's embarrassing to go into detail really.

Buuut it seemed like she really liked it. At the moment, I was like equivalent to Jesus for her.She hugged me twice. I think she's only hugged me like 4 times ever. It also seemed like I was the only one who actually got her a card, and put her gift in like a bag or something. How embarrassing.  It was also great just watching her read the card literally throughout the whole class. Every time I looked at her she would just be inspecting the card. Either reading the little notes I left on the cover, just reading the card again. Occasionally she would put it down, but then I would see her take it out again.

And pops concert season started eyyyy.  Yup. Today was good.
