SURPRISINGLY even though it is what i blog about 97% of the time these days, no one has sent me yyh so thank u doe i was praying to the stars above that someone would indulge me with this
Favorite character: hiei, black-dragon-eater, scorned imiko, garbage boy, flame on
Second favorite character: yukina even though she gets, like, barely anything. idc. every time she shows up my heart soars. i also love kuwabara a ton tho especially after my second watch. he is Strong
Least favorite character: the degree to which i have perfected my elder toguro cackle is in total discord with how much i genuinely hate him
The character I’m most like: oh it’s definitely botan, i’m definitely the botan. pretending to be a guileless cat when i am confronted about my buffoonery? classic technique
Favorite pairing: the line that made me ship hiei/kurama for good, carved in stone, was the bit in the dark tournament where they’re like “we’re both way too weak to fight this guy even though we want to” and kurama gives hiei this sharp borderline mischievous smile and says “we could run, if you want,” even though the rest of their team was right there, because regardless of where they are now the backs they’re most used to watching are each other’s, because they were criminals together and now they’re unlikely heroes together, and hiei just scoffs and says “don’t be simple,” because kurama’s always been the simple one, hasn’t he, because of course what he means is you and i could run, the hell with the rest of them, if you want, but they’re both beyond ideas like that now and he knows it—anyway they’re a really good ship. they’re really good. also luv shizuru/botan and hiei/yusuke and poly team urameshi (ur fault) and ndfngnfnh
Least favorite pairing: karasu/kurama is not to my liking
Favorite moment: CHRIST THIS IS IMPOSSIBLE REMEMBER WHEN HIEI SAVED YUSUKE’S LIFE EVEN THO HE SAID HE DIDN’T CARE AND WHEN YUSUKE CALLED HIM OUT HE WAS LIKE “I WAS WORRIED ABOUT THE TREES” OR THAT TIME KURAMA KILLED A DUDE WITH HIS HAIR OR WHEN THEY ALL THOUGHT YUSUKE DIED AND THEIR ENERGY JUMPED TO A-CLASS LEVELS AND IT WAS THE FIRST TIME HIEI WAS WILLING TO DIE FOR SOMEONE BESIDES HIMSELF AND FOREVER WAS THE ONLY THING THEY HAD LEFT OR THE TIME MUKURO WAS LIKE “SUCKER HERE’S THAT STONE YOU WERE LOOKING FOR :P” AND HIEI WAS LIKE “GROSS KEEP IT” N PASSED OUT
