OhSav, Oh Snap!
It's true they've equally sold and lost me in a single episode only because he uttered that she was only 23. Seriously, Winnie Oh is only 23? The good news is that if the writers are making an concerted effort to reveal her age as only being 23 perhaps this is one unconventional romance that will actually have a chance on Degrassi. Yes, I know she he is teacher. But I'd like to imagine that she leaves Degrassi to further her dreams in music, or something that allows these two to be together. They are too sweet, genuine and sexy (that kiss - the eye sexing) to be denied.
The best part of watching today's Degrassi marathon on Much Music was the adorable live interviews with Cory Lee and Raymond Ablack. They called the budding relationship all the way back when filming the opening credits. And when asked if this was a legit love interest for Sav, Ablack's response was "Too legit to quit" with a huge grin on his face.
Is it wrong of me to want Sav and Winnie to forge a real love story that builds past graduation? Their chemistry is genuine and cute. And this isn't your typical, I'm the naive teenager with obsessive complexes. Their romance, or connection as it stands now is light and fun and just delightful to watch.
