Ensure full compliance with Huntsman EHS policy, standards and procedures and all applicable local EHS legal requirements.
Monitor changes to legislation, standards and codes and implement action to ensure full legal compliance.
Develop and maintain a EHS/Process Safety Management System to ensure systems and procedures are in place to effectively manage and mitigate EHS and Process Safety risks.
Lead and develop the local EHS team to effectively support and coach line management for implementation of EHS risk assessments, EHS requirements and in developing a positive culture for continuous improvement, performance and behavior.
Identify training needs, develop and implement training programs to meet legal requirements, raise awareness, transfer best practice and build EHS competency amongst associates and contractors.
Develop and ensure robustness of Emergency Response Plans and Business - Continuity Plans; organize the site Emergency Management Team and participate in leading regular emergency exercises.
Maintain EHS management information, track and report performance, analyse trends and gaps and develop action plans to improve performance
Ensure all EHS monitoring and testing is completed and reported in compliance with applicable legislation and other requirements.
Define, monitor and participate in local EHS audits and inspection programs and ensure all gaps are closed
Ensure all EHS related actions are tracked to ensure timely closure
Ensure prompt reporting and appropriate level of investigation of all EHS incidents, root cause identified and any actions properly closed and timely communication of all learning to relevant stakeholders
Develop and monitor EHS budget and identify the EHS and Process Safety capital projects according to agreed criteria

Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or Environmental/ Health/ Safety.
Certified Employee Health and Safety K3 - General
Certified Employee Health and Safety K3 - Chemical
In addition Fire Prevention Specialist certification would be an added advantage
Experiences:
7-10 years in a EHS environment. Proven track record in EHS and/or operational disciplines, preferably in chemical process industries.
Know-how/skills:
- Familiar with EHS and Process Safety Management Systems, Process Hazard - - Analysis, Risk Assessments, Incident Investigation, Indonesian EHS related regulations.
- Leadership, organization and planning, analysis and influencing, teambuilding, good communication skills
- Fluency in English and Bahasa is a prerequisite
