mia can’t remember the last time she and archie spoke. it had to have been months since they’ve even said a word to each other. they had basically grown up together, but once they got to high school, it was like someone flipped a switch and they were calling less and visiting less and now they were in completely different groups. so, when their teacher paired them up for an assignment, mia was a little startled to hear his name next to hers. with a sigh, she just smiles at harper and nudges his shoulder as his partner walked up, and it was archie’s best friend kian. she smiled at him before slipping past him and sliding into the seat beside archie, “well, long time no talk,” she murmured and gave archie a small smile. “how’ve you been?” she asks as she hangs her bag on the back of the seat. all they needed to do was set up times for them to meet after school and talk about what book they should be working with, so now was a good a time as ever to get caught up. her teeth dig into her lower lip and she rests her head on her hand. / @ohsunflowers
