  rosie felt her cheeks grow warm with a dark pink blush — surprised by the compliment, but.. pleased, somehow. she didn’t completely understand fusion, not really, but.. it felt.. good.. to receive a compliment from another gem, one who wasn’t.. hostile. so much so, she felt a spark of her old spirit rise up inside of her, her lips pulling upwards into a smile.
