It was an odd picture, to be sure. A woman, soaking wet, sat cross-legged in a back alley, busily assembling something in her lap. She glanced up briefly, but promptly decided she was unconcerned by the man who had appeared at the other end of the alley and went back to piecing together the contraption. "I'm not selling anymore," she announced, "so if you're here to buy, you're barking up the wrong dark alley."
