Why Use Handmade Soap?
If you can make soap kudos to you! Making soap can be a bit intimidated but very rewarding. Besides the hands-on experience of using a soap you or someone else made, there is also the fact that you control exactly what goes into your soap. Commercial soaps are convenient but can leave your skin feeling dry and irritated. For those that may be sensitive to the multitude of other ingredients found in commercial soap, its a much better idea to use handmade soap.
