In the shadow I took a stab at another outdoor painting. This was fun but took 3 hours approx,under the sun! These are the trees in the campus so close to each other looks like a small jungle. Vicissitude Change can be an unforeseen trauma that can change us forever, it might end up shifting our behaviour and feelings. The painting depicts a change the girl is going through ,which is an emotional crisis for her. Stepping from one phase to another with acceptance , yet feeling emotional because she has to leave a part of her behind. The childhood ! How many times are we reminded by others of our age and expected to behave a bit mature! Some of those sometimes include our friends and family! People we know and admire ! I would (with this piece)like to ask WHY?? Why do you expect others to behave a certain way???...I hereby declare I WILL NOT!!
