All things Max Ernst.
Top: Pétales et jardin de la nymphe Ancolie. The Max Ernst Museum in Brühl, Germany, having been cut out of it’s original location in Zurich. I had never seen any of his work on this scale before, and it’s absolutely stunning. The museum itself is very much dedicated to Ernst’s work, and very little to do with his life (though there are a couple of concessions for Dorthea Tanning).
