Um feito muito importante foi não aceitar que um padre ou bispo católico abrisse cerimônias religiosas, como era necessário no passado. Muito do mix do catolicismo vem da necessidade de pretender que se estava adorando os mesmos deuses e entidades católicos para se ter mais liberdade de culto. E obviamente tem muito do processo histórico de imposição, demonização, e embranquecimento de religiões nativas africanas por conta da igrejas católicas e evangélicas. A very important one was eradicating many Catholic rites that was part of the Candomblé ceremonies in her temple. The Catholic touches where introduced when the #freedom of cult was dominated by the church. So a lot of mixes with the Catholicism was introduced that would allow the Candomblé to happen. But she said “My time is now” and now she didn’t need to have it. She changed. She didn’t want to have a Catholic bishop to open religious celebrations in her Candomblé temple.
