I bought a house yesterday! A goal of 5-6 years in fruition 🏡
Lads, my offer on a house was accepted, I have an Assistant Manager Interview at my wonderful job today, and I woke up in a cuties arms who made me coffee this morning. I can't remember being this happy.
I had a really nice date last night...I really like this person, but am still getting to know them. It was hard, but I found an attractive independent creative kind non cis person. It's a little weird cuz we have the same name and we both use neutral pronouns, but my night was...pure bliss. We are very compatible. They're amazing, and fascinating, and sexy as hell. I'll keep y'all updated on this trans romance.
I love my friends but they're stupid sometimes and I'm frustrated trying to save them when they are unwilling to save themselves. Why would you waste your life loving someone whose ACTIONS all show they hate you? Drop them and save yourself.
One of my jobs is at a nonprofit movie theatre. They had a special showing of the incredible documentary Paris is Burning. I had seen it before but it was so cool to see it on the big screen, with sound and image restored. So many beautiful stories, and while I slapped on some makeup for the film, it really inspired me to see such a genuine representation of trans women, gay men and gnc people in that time in New York. I want to be a more GENUINE me, before and after I transition. I went by myself to see the movie too, as an extra little treat. Now I'm gonna have a quiet night in with my cat and my thoughts. Yall have a good one ✌️
I'm quitting sbux after six years!!!!
After September I'll be free and only have one job at the nonprofit where my identity and pronouns are respected 👌
Some recent looks
I came out to my sister today.
She said "I support you as long as it makes you happy". She is bi and neither of us have come out to our very conservative parents. But now I'm out to both my siblings and the relief I feel is...immense. When I finally tell my parents it may be our last conversation ever. I know their love is conditional, my father is a very traditional Muslim and my mom is a Christian pastor. The most likely outcome is that they won't acknowledge my existence, especially my dad (mom will probably come around even if she never agrees). ANYWAY. The fact that I'm out to my brother and sister now is huge, they know who I really am, and when I'm disowned they will have my back in the family drama that will undoubtedly unfold. If I die they will know the true me. Which is huge. Now I'm out to my siblings, some choice cousins, and all of my friends, plus ALL my coworkers at both jobs, and they are supportive across the board. I'm still really scared to face my parents because I was homeschooled and I have a unique relationship with them. I'm so so scared guys. But I want to start hormones this year and that means i will be out to them one way or another. Anyways my siblings still love me. Happy Pride Month.
