Hey guys! So I said I’d make a few announcements this month and this is the first of many!

Commissions have been closed for quite a bit and my general presence on Tumblr has been lacking but I promise there is a good reason!

I’m required to complete an illustration co-op term this summer and I’ve been lucky enough to be mentored by the wonderful @ruemxu​ (please go read and support her comics! They’re absolutely amazing <3)! 

With this opportunity, i’ve decided to start production on a print/web comic version of @boatswain-and-idler​!

Boatswain and Idler is a story, created by @ok-oko and I, involving 5 young boys and their time spent at a 20th century orphanage!

We’ve developed their story from childhood to adulthood, but the one-shot i’m working will be more focused on the events of their youth. A majority of the comic is set to be finished before September (Hopefully!) with plans to sell the first part at the upcoming Canzine in Toronto (if I can grab a table lol)!

In the meantime, if anyone is interested, please feel free to check out our @boatswain-and-idler archival blog where you can find loads of goodies/art of the characters!

I’ll definitely continue to give out updates as I progress with the comic but this is all for now (> o 6 )/~**
