Didn't watch the Game Awards (I'm picky with my video games due to my lack of video game skills 😭), but now I almost wish I had, because I heard the news about Okami getting a sequel! I wish I could've seen the teaser playing live to see if I would've recognized the game!

Anyways, I have memories of the original game! I'd watch my dad play it on the PS2. I never saw the full game or the full story, only just bits and pieces and segments, but I still consider it a part of my childhood!

My favorite thing to repeat was "Issun Issun Issun! I'm not a bug!!!!" I also remember thinking the Orange Man's dance was really funny!

I also had the sequel (which I think has been retconned in terms of being canon), Okami-den, which I never beat because I think I forgot to learn a certain skill required to beat the final boss. I wasn't a smart gamer as a kid.

Now that I'm an adult (and played and beat my first non turn-based RPG, Psychonauts 2), I'm honestly thinking of playing the original Okami (and possibly Okami-den). Only worry is that it's such a long game, but we'll see!

So like I walked to GS and forgot that Bravely Default was sold out. Three hours and four blisters later, I whined up paying $60 bucks for getting to sent to my mail. Shipping is free. Thank god. But I left with Okami 2. And roleplayed KidIcarus crossover with the gf. Amaterasu’s son is so adorable.
