i decided I wanted to make a collection of things. That fell through. I got the idea too late. I was too lazy to pull through with what I originally had in mind.

For a while I've been thinking about the dynamics of Leprald and Farce. You know, one being a kleptomaniac and the other an alcoholic. I thought it'd be neat to have it so that they'd be friends with the original version of the other. Since Boomer is—i believe—an understanding individual and Tragicomedy is a cynical dipshit. I think they'd be good foils for the sad fat addict and the shameless scumbag thief respectively.
I'm not quite proud of the colors. They're much too muted yet they still clash in a way that just makes them look ugly. Even worse, I lost the grasp I had on your style, which just makes this look even less appealing to me, as well as more unsatisfying.

I've always had a liking for style swapping ever since I started watching the videos by Harry Gold. It truly leaves me starstruck to see other art styles recreated so flawlessly. And it's not really exclusive to him, either. The creator of Jumpcut, Chris Shwafer, also did this for himself. This directly inspired me to grab his big art style swap grid, take out just the frames, and make my own selection of styles.
To be quite frank, I'd say this was pretty hit or miss. Some of them look "spot-on" if you don't look at the linework too close, some are only good in their structure yet not in composition, and some I'd have to tell you what the style is so you'd recognize it. The latter is not very ideal. Hopefully I did a good job on the top row, which is media you listed to be a direct inspiration from your style, which to me means that it's shit you care about. The middle row is things I think we both like and the bottom is shit I think only I know about. And care for.
A little footnote: the Piemations one is meant to look specifically like the Breezy Animated animations they did, since we like old poor quality animations around here, don't we?
