For some reason I find Sayo ‘mystical’. Maybe because her hair is copper green and long.

MBTI vs four temperaments
Part I: pure types
ENTJ is definitely pure Choleric, efficiently manages things and is quick-thinking.
Pure Phlegmatic is pure ISFJ, dislikes changes and is diplomatic.
Pure Melancholy is iNtuitive and Thinking. Definitely not ISTJ. Less grounded more like INFP. But still not INFP. Calculated like a Thinker. But definitely not INTJ, as INTJ is more choleric-like. So it's INTP.
We got ENTJ (TeNi), ISFJ (SiFe), and INTP (TiNe), so pure Sanguine must be ESFP (SeFi).
For now we got:
Sanguine: Se + Fi
Choleric: Te + Ni
Melancholy: Ti + Ne
Phlegmatic: Si + Fe
Part II: aspirational temperaments
If temperaments are defined by its dominant (1st) function, then each temperament has both Extroverted and Introverted blends. Each dominant function represents each type's biggest aspiration.
Sanguine: ESP and IFP
Choleric: ETJ and INJ
Melancholy: ITP and ENP
Phlegmatic: ISJ and EFJ
This quartet may be called as aspirational temperaments.
Part III: interactional temperaments
However, in most system based on 4 temperaments (e.g. DiSC, Color Code Personality), Sanguine and Choleric are divided from Melancholy and Phlegmatic by extraversion–introversion or similar, beside another scale usually called people–tasks orientation.
This way, Sanguine and Choleric are extraverted, while Melancholic and Phlegmatic are introverted. Each aspirational temperaments, meanwhile, have both Extroverted and Introverted versions. This means that there's another temperament quartet.
Assuming that MBTI's Extroversion–Introversion is the same to those of other systems, then:
Sanguine: E + X
Choleric: E + X
Melancholy: I + X
Phlegmatic: I + X
Where each X represents the auxiliary (2nd) function. Because we already know each temperament's pure types, then:
Sanguine: ESFP = ESP + EFP
Choleric: ENTJ = ETJ + ENJ
Melancholy: INTP = ITP + INP
Phlegmatic: ISFJ = ISJ + IFJ
Removing the dominant functions, we got:
Sanguine: EFP
Choleric: ENJ
Melancholy: INP
Phlegmatic: IFJ
Each temperament has to have both P and J, or some blends will be missing (e.g. Phlegmatic EFJ + Sanguine EFP, the last letters don't match).
If you notice it, certain pairs of pure temperaments share both the same 2nd and 3rd letters (ISFJ–ESFP and ENTJ–INTP). Thus it can be said that S/F–N/T somehow analogous to people–tasks orientation. Sensing and Feeling are more ‘engaging’ with people and environments than iNtuition and Thinking are. And since in this quartet we use the auxiliary functions, the scale become Sj/Fp–Nj/Tp. Note the small j/p; they mean xxxj = ExxJ/IxxP and xxxp = ExxP/IxxJ.
Sanguine: ESJ or EFP
Choleric: ENJ or ETP
Melancholy: INP or ITJ
Phlegmatic: ISP or IFJ
This quartet may be called as interactional temperaments.
Part IV: blends
The two quartets can be combined to make a temperament blend that has a different interactional temperament from its aspirational temperament, e.g. interacting like a Phlegmatic but has the aspiration of a Sanguine. Since most systems based on the 4 temperaments usually use the extroverted-vs-introverted format, here the interactional temperaments come first.
So the blends are:
Sanguine: ESFP
Sanguine-Choleric: ESTJ
Sanguine-Melancholy: ENFP
Sanguine-Phlegmatic: ESFJ
Choleric: ENTJ
Choleric-Sanguine: ESTP
Choleric-Melancholy: ENTP
Choleric-Phlegmatic: ENFJ
Melancholy-Sanguine: INFP
Melancholy-Choleric: INTJ
Melancholy: INTP
Melancholy-Phlegmatic: ISTJ
Phlegmatic-Sanguine: ISFP
Phlegmatic-Choleric: INFJ
Phlegmatic-Melancholy: ISTP
Phlegmatic: ISFJ
