it doesn’t snow here. but when it does it’s terrible and wet and we go out anyway because of reasons. Like Northerners talking ish about how having such coldddddd weather makes them stronger.

TURKEY: In your opinion the best part of Christmas dinner?

…it’s kind of like Thanksgiving which means it’s awesome but it’s better because it’s Christmas.

I never believed in Santa or the Tooth Fairy, but I liked playing pretend.

In general, the best present I’ve gotten was the birthday money from different people that, added up, was enough for CVI tickets. For Christmas? My camera. I think the best present I’ve given was the mug I gave my mother last Christmas, cause she uses it basically every day.

SCARF: Describe your favourite winter outfit.

Jeans and my epic trench coat. Nothing else in that outfit matters, I assure you.

HOME ALONE: How many of the Home Alone films have you seen?

I actually… can’t remember. :P But I know I’ve seen at least the first (and maybe second) one(s).

TINSEL: Do you have any traditions at Christmas time?

Getting the tree, listening to Christmas music, etc. But I do think something that’s interesting is that growing up, my and my siblings’ gifts weren’t wrapped. (When I asked my parents to start doing it maybe three or four years ago, things got less eco friendly but even more fun.) Also, we’re only able to get three presents. Cause, you know, Jesus. Of course, it does kind of add up when you throw in my grandparents and extended family.

GINGERBREAD: Name your favourite tasty treats.

Turkey, stuffing, blackberry pie, hot chocolate.

PRESENT: Worst present you have ever received and the worst you have given.

Even though I’m thankful, I hate getting clothes for Christmas, and my mom at least did too as a kid, so we as a family don’t really do that. (OF COURSE NOW THAT HU IS A THING YOU CAN TOTALLY DO SOMETHING FROM THEM. TOTALLY.) You can’t really stop my maternal grandmother on that front, though. :P Worst I’ve given… crayola paints, which I THINK my brother liked but kind of just wasted.

REINDEER: Is Rudolph your favourite reindeer or one of the others?

I used to have an all consuming fear of those big wire reindeer so I really didn’t care growing up if it was Dasher or Dancer scaring the snot out of me.

Pretty bad, but I’ve gotten better.

Yeah, I have, and probably will at other points.
