Sagarmatha Library, the first library of Okhaldhunga, is about to close down due to a lack of readers. Due to the earthquake of 2072 BS (2015 AD), the library building was completely damaged, old documents and important books were also destroyed. This library, which was established in 2023 BS (~1966 AD) at the district headquarter, could not be brought back into operation due to a lack of resources. The library, which is currently being operated by one employee, is set to shut down after it stopped gathering support.
