#17: “Looks like we’ll be trapped for a while...” 

Calum Hood Imagine Rated: PG for excessive cuddles and crinkly eyed giggles for okkmalik, my sunshine

History was never your good subject. You struggled to study for it or even remember any material at all. Your knowledge came and went, and when tests came around, you only knew half of the material. Your parents forced you to sign up for a tutor, and, surprise, surprise, you got the one person you were praying you wouldn’t. Calum Hood was the embodiment of a douche. Everything – from the way he carried himself, to the way he spoke, to the way he walked in the goddamn hallway – just screamed asshole to you, but you weren’t even sure why. Calum was the star of the football team, always being praised for doing his best work. Everyone said he was a good guy, but you couldn’t tell why you disliked him so much. You figured you had to push those feelings aside when he was appointed your tutor. You didn’t want to; you didn’t even want to look at him. But, he had to drive you home from school that day, so you could start tutoring. Needless to say, you weren’t looking forward to it at all.

Your parents weren’t home, and it was raining exceptionally hard.  After a short, quiet car ride, he pulled his car up so your side was next to the curb. You went to open the door, “No, wait.” He stopped you. You furrowed your brow, but you watched him run to your side and extend an umbrella. You raised an eyebrow skeptically. He opened your door, “Oh, thanks a lot.” You smile, “You can get under too, you now.” He giggled, squeezing under with you, closer than you actually wanted. However, he was warm against the cold November rain, and it made you feel safe. He guided you up your porch steps, closing the soaking umbrella behind him. You pulled out your house key, turning the lock, and letting Calum go before you. “You can just set that there,” you motion to the basket next to the front door awkwardly. He obliges, carefully putting his umbrella where you suggested, and smiling at you. He shoved his hands in his pockets, waiting for your direction. You stood there, staring like an idiot. “Oh – sorry, um, you can just set up in the living room if you’d like—uh, if that’s more comfortable.” He seemed to be amused by your frantic nature, and followed you into the living room. He set his bag on the floor next to the coffee table. You’d bitten your tongue so hard on the way there that you tasted blood. He sat ineptly on your couch, setting his hands between his legs. “Uh, do you want anything to eat or drink?” He grinned up at you, “Water is fine, thanks.” You walked through the door, connecting the living room to the kitchen, and you set your hands on the counter. Why is he so damn smiley all the time? You ask yourself, as you pour him some water from the pitcher in your fridge. When you came back, he had papers scattered neatly across the table, and his history book by his side. You set the cup of water next to him on the side table, and he silently thanked you with a smile. Another smile, Jesus, what is he so happy about? After about an hour of failed retention, Calum had managed to accidentally brush your hands together seven times and stare at you unapologetically about three. You counted to make sure you weren’t absolutely insane. The odds of him coming onto you were inexplicably high, and the tension you were feeling between the two of you was undeniable. Whether it be sexual or romantic, you didn’t care; somehow, you were enjoying it. The TV in the corner of the room made you two stop studying, “Hey, turn it up.” He said, furrowing his brow. “We advise all people in the tristate area to stay in the respective homes until the storm lets up. There’s a flood watch being distributed to the region, and it’s smart to not go outside and to stay warm.” “Looks like we’ll be trapped for a while…” Calum chuckled nervously. “Might as well make the best of it, right?” He shut the history book, “How long have we been studying for?” you ask him innocently. He shrugged, “Doesn’t matter, as long as we get to do this for the rest of the evening.” He leaned closer, and you awaited his lips molding into yours, but the feeling never came – instead, you were being thrown down on the couch in a fit of giggles. Calum’s hands roamed all around your body, looking for your most vulnerable spot, as his eyes crinkled up in fits of laughter. He finally found it on your stomach, and continued tickling you, until you were calmed down and lying against his rock hard chest. “That anticipation was totally unnecessary, you know.” You taunt, adjusting your head on his torso. “What were you anticipating?” he asks innocently, though you knew in his voice, he knew exactly what he was talking about. You looked up at him and scrunched your nose, but, this time, he leaned down and planted his lips firmly on yours. You flipped your body around so you were lying on top of him. You smirked as his hands wandered down to your bum. You grabbed his wrists, bringing them back up to the small of your back, “Not today, Cal.” He sighed into your lips, “Well, like I said, looks like we’ll be trapped for a while…”

#5 “Wait a minute, are you jealous?” “Hey, babe, would it be alright if I bought you a drink?” You look up at this mystery man with skeptical eyes. He had dark, brown eyes that matched his hair, but the blonde streak in the front gave him a special edge you seemed to notice. He gives you a smirk, taking a seat at the stool next to you. “Sure,” you smile, “What’s your name?” “Calum,” he grins, extending his hand for an intimate handshake. “And you?” You tell him your name, as he reaches your hand up to his lips, giving your knuckles a soft kiss. You blush at the feeling of it, at the presence of him in general. His black, Ramones, t-shirt didn’t do his arms justice at all – the kid was sculpted, and you weren’t about to pass up the opportunity. “Uhhm…” Michael pops up behind you, setting hand on your shoulder protectively. “Babe, who is this?”

You furrow your brow at him before rolling your eyes, “Michael, this is Calum. He was just about to buy me a drink.” You elbow his ribs as discreetly as you can.  “Oh, sorry, we can’t stay.” Michael says quickly, grabbing your purse and your arm. “What?! I—“You couldn’t even say goodbye to Calum, because you were already outside of the club. “Michael! What the fuck was that?!” “I didn’t like his vibe…” Michael said, handing you his purse and continuing to walk. “Shut the hell up—“you cut yourself off in realization, “Oh my god. Wait a minute, are you jealous?” “What?!” he scoffs, “No.” “Oh, spare me, Mikey. You’re jealous and you know it.” “Okay, so what?” he came closer, “What does me being jealous have to do with the fact that I just wanted to leave?” “Because you were just fine flirting with that stupid girl in the corner, but the minute I find someone who’s remotely interested in me, you always have to go fuck it up.” You were now up against the wall, “I know a scumbag when I see one.” “No, you know competition when you see it. Don’t get it twisted.” His face was now inches away from yours, “Really? Do you think he could make you feel like this?” He crashed his lips into yours hungrily. You let out a deep sigh through your nose, pulling at his shirt, trying to get him close. He gyrated his hips into yours, and you let out a moan into his kiss. His hand was still hovered over your head, but he brought it down to hold onto your waist. He started kissing down your neck, “I like this jealous side of you, Mikey.” You breathe, as he sucks on your collarbone. “That makes two of us,” he growls, licking his lips and planting them on your own again.
