I stare at him, trying to intimidate him. He stares right back.
I hate him. Hate him.
He's older than me, but I'm so sure he was my age when I met him. My memory is different each and every time.
Sometimes I remember hugging Ralsei tenfold, most recent is hugging him once "just so I could". And he talks, references things I don't understand.
He'll explain, but he always stops himself because he knows he doesn't make sense. He talks about stuff I should know about but never mentions a name.
He talks about Asriel. Or he tries to. Says "I hope I get to see Asriel soon" but what does he know? What does he know about Asriel?
And what does he know about my mom. Or dad. Friends. He doesn't know anything and yet like a deity he knows everything.
Even the skeleton. Who also recognized him when he spoke with my mouth. It's a connection that I wouldn't begin to understand, and he doesn't even try to explain it. Even if he does, he stops himself from over explaining.
But sometimes he does.

"You remind me of someone," He said. "I can't tell you the specifics. I think someone specifically would have my head if I tried to reiterate his words. But it feels like you belong somewhere in every universe. Like Asriel. Or Sans." he shrugged. "Like; You and Asriel will always be siblings in every universe."
The me-being-like-someone. Is that a good thing?
"Depends on how you look at it."
So it could be a bad thing. Do I know them?
"Not exactly."
It's not you.
"I've controlled them all the same."
"Sorta."
"If you look between the lighting you'd see what I mean."
You’re doing this on purpose then.
"I think, to an extent," He thinks, arms crossed, finger tapping lip. "The other two, they didn't exactly have a personality. It's how you played that shaped them. I mean, one had a background enough to give insight to other things that follow after incidents..."
"But you, Kris, you're a little different."
How so?
"There's people that surround you that share background. From little to last week. You're almost as human as I am." he opened his arms. "I get sad if I fail. I fear your demise because 'How would Toriel feel? What about Azzy?'. I connect with you in a way you don't even realize.."
"... To an extent."

"I helped you up to Titan, begging you to keep going every time we got hit in case you got to one hp." He stepped forward. "I know you don't like me, I know why. I know you also need me for the time being."
I fall into his arms, empty stare past him. "It's silly to care. For a variety of reasons you wouldn't like to hear. But I care. I care a lot. Like a brother, if you'd like the analogy."
He melts into me, quite literally, before I find myself physically alone in my room, staring at my wall.
