You stare at your phone while thinking

*You can’t fucking believe Y/n would make a joke out of you guys tying which stripped you both of holding the title of first rookie to win the 3-pointer contest although you do regret the harsh tone you used you don’t regret it as much as you regret tying with Y/n

* And thinking further you can’t believe she’s acting like she doesn’t know who you are, you definitely know her,every journalist,fan, and reporter has been asking you “Did you see Y/n’s last game “…… “Do you feel threatened by Y/n joining you on the Dallas Wings?”you watched some of Y/n’s interviews and maybe stalked her instagram you know their asking about you. You start to think maybe Y/n feels she’s a better player than you so there’s no need to pay you any mind; and that thought alone makes your body heat up. You decide to get to the bottom of this; once you guys get to UT and settle in you’ll apologize and ask to do a partner drill. But in the meantime looking at her alluring face out of the corner of your eye will suffice, and you can’t help but admit to yourself despite Y/n seeming ignorant you are very interested in getting to know Her.

The AC in the apartment blew disruptively, creating a hum as it tried to keep up with the harsh LA heat. It hadn't reached summer yet but the temperature was already creeping up as the days started to get longer. You couldn't even say for sure what the show was about, mind too numb from the heat, but you knew it was some dumb reality tv show with no real meaning anyways so you weren’t missing much. 

The hours had been going by at the speed of molasses. Deciding to have a free day from studying for a few up and coming exams you had, the home you shared with your girlfriend had been empty besides your own presence for hours.
